Grants for Organ Students

Bursaries are funded by the Frederick and Nelly Causebrook Memorial Trust, an unregistered Charity. Grants are administered by the Gordon Robinson Memorial Trust, a registered Charity Number: 283551. The Estate of the benefactor's is managed by Max Engel and Partners, Northampton Solicitors. It's principle function is to support young musicians across the County - to seek and distribute grants on behalf of the benefactors.

Funeral Fees with effect from January 1st 2012

Applicable to the Rural Deans and Funeral Directors in the Peterborough Diocese
(excluding Oundle, Barnack and Peterborough Deaneries),
and to members of the Northampton and District Organists’ Association.

At a Committee Meeting of this Association held on 12th November 2011 at which the subject of Funeral Fees paid to organists was discussed, the following recommendation was passed:

“That the minimum fee for a simple service with no choir or previous rehearsal, should increase to Sixty Five pounds (£65.00) with effect from January 1st 2012.”
